Printing methods

We use 3 different printing methods: dye sublimation , vinyl cutting and embroidery . Each different type of printing method offers its own unique advantages, so, when it comes to choosing the best, there are a number of factors to consider. Please note that the design will always look different on the garment than it does on your monitor. This occurs simply because most fabrics are matte while your screen is backlit.

Dye Sublimation

This method is ideal for small quantities and low budgets, works well on light shirts or polyester fabrics. In the dye sub transfer process, a digital image is created and printed on special paper using special dyes. This paper is placed on top of fabric and then heat-pressed. You can achieve continuous tone and near-photographic images that become part of the material itself, resulting in a flawless and smooth surface. There is no creasing or cracking of the graphics when folding your fabric. They are washable without risk and won’t curl at the edges.

Vinyl Cut

In this method a special soft clothing is cut into shapes or designs which are placed onto the garments using the heat press method. You can print one-off designs and even produce them in large numbers. It is the best alternative for printing multiple garment types.

Embroidery

Embroidery is a 2 stage process. Firstly your logo needs to be digitized using special embroidery software. This converts the artwork into a format the embroidery machines recognise and thus replicates the design into stitches on your garments. Once completed it is ready for sewing. At times an embroidered finish is a more suitable solution to printing. It convey a sense of quality which may add value to a product and is recommended option for branding outdoor workwear due to its physical durability and smart professional appearance.

Please note there is a one-off charge of €20.00 to have an embroidery digitized.
